Bocote is a very eye-catching wood with a beautiful yellow brown body and dark brown/black stripes. It has a tendency to darken with age. Most decorative pieces will usually be figured in some capacity with straight grain surrounding. This wood is a true rarity in terms of pattern , workability, and durability for fine wood working. With it's hight amount of natural oils, it will definitely contribute to a glossy luxurious finish. 

Hobby boards are milled from 4/4 lumber, finished thickness will vary between 3/4"-1".

Boards are 20" long.
