Black Walnut is known for its rich, dark brown colour with occasional purple or grey undertone and it's sapwood being pale yellow to nearly white. Grain pattern is usually straight and tight.

Hobby boards are milled from 4/4 lumber, finished thickness will vary between 3/4"-1".
