S2S European Beech

European Beech is a premium hardwood from Europe known for its consistent grain and workability. It is a great hardwood for most projects and reacts well to steam bending. 

Janka Hardness: 1,450 lb/f

Workability: Mills, sands and finishes nicely with little complications.

What can you expect from S2S Lumber?

S2S Lumber (Surfaced two Sides) is sent through our planer, skimmed on two sides to show grain and colour with the edges left rough.  Thickness will be around 3/16” less than nominal thickness due to the planing process.   If rough stock is preferred please leave a comment on checkout.

We select prime pieces that are representative in colour and quality of what we show on our website.
