S2S Figured Black Walnut

Figured American Black Walnut is a premium, durable hardwood prized for its rich chocolate-brown color, often featuring violet/red undertones, and dramatic grain patterns like curly, burl, or crotch figure.

Workability: It is widely used in luxury furniture, musical instruments, and veneer due to its stability, fine texture, and excellent workability. 

What can you expect from S2S Lumber?

S2S Lumber (Surfaced two Sides) is sent through our planer, skimmed on two sides to show grain and colour with the edges left rough.  Thickness will be around 3/16” less than nominal thickness due to the planing process.   If rough stock is preferred please leave a comment on checkout.
