Roasted Red Oak A unique twist on arguably the most popular hardwood in the North America, red oak is a ubiquitous sight in many homes.

Roasted Red Oak retains the bold grain pattern that Red Oak is known for while transforming its naturally pinkish colour into rich brown and coffee tones. The result is a modern, premium-looking hardwood with excellent character. Roasted Red Oak is popular for furniture, shelving, architectural millwork, and statement pieces where the grain is meant to stand out.

Workability: Mills, sands and finishes nicely with little complications.

What can you expect from S2S Lumber?

S2S Lumber (Surfaced two Sides) is sent through our planer, skimmed on two sides to show grain and colour with the edges left rough.  Thickness will be around 3/16” less than nominal thickness due to the planing process.   If rough stock is preferred please leave a comment on checkout.
